Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce sealed their fairytale romance with a sparkling proposal that sent fans into a frenzy.
Earlier this week, the pair confirmed their engagement after a picturesque woodland moment, igniting joy among the Lover hitmaker’s fans and NFL followers alike.
Brittany Mahomes, wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and one of Taylor’s closest new pals, was quick to gush over the news.
Sharing her excitement on Instagram, Brittany wrote, “Two of the most genuine people meet and fall in love. Just so happy for these two.”
Patrick himself, who shares three Super Bowl victories with Travis, reposted the couple’s announcement with three heart emojis.
Notably, the Mahomes and Kelce-Swift duo have become inseparable off the pitch too.
They are often spotted on cosy double dates, and famously enjoying the songstress’s Eras Tour in Amsterdam last year.
Moreover, NFL stars weren’t the only ones weighing in, Chiefs defensive end Mike Danna described the engagement as “a beautiful thing.”
While even US President Donald Trump, despite past spats with Swift, wished the couple “a lot of luck”.
The Bad Blood singer, who is gearing up to release her highly anticipated 16th album The Life of a Showgirl, shared a series of romantic snaps from the forest proposal, which racked up more than six million likes in just one hour.
