Miles Teller is teasing the next Michael movie, after the first one ended up being a smash hit on the box office.

The actor, who plays Michael Jackson’s lawyer John Branca, shared how far the movie has gotten in terms of its sequel.

In an interview with IndieWire, the 39-year-old stated, "They had to rework the third act of the last movie, as far as the sequel goes, I know they're working on it. I haven't had any direct discussions, other than the team is excited to complete that story."

The Thriller hit maker’s biopic ends in 1988, before his numerous controversies, such as the child sex abuse allegations, came to light years later.

Meanwhile since it came out in cinemas almost a month ago, Michael has now become the second-highest-grossing music biopic of all time, coming second only to Bohemian Rhapsody.

In its first three weeks, the film acquired $577 million, along with an earning of $240.4 million domestically and $336.88 million abroad, after gaining $95 million in its third weekend.

Notably, director Antoine Fuqua is set to return for the latter part as of yet and there is reportedly unused footage from the first film that could also be used.
