Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are all anyone can talk about and the National Football League player’s father, Ed Kelce, is only facilitating the obsession.
The future father-in-law has given the people exactly what they wanted, details into the jaw-dropping, time-stopping proposal, including when and how it happened.
In an interview with News 5's John Kosich, the 74-year-old noted that the significant event actually took place two weeks ago.
Ed stated of Travis, "He was going to put it off till this week. I think she was getting maybe a little antsy, but he was going to put her off till this week, to, you know, make some grand thing, to make it a big special event."
After which he detailed that he attempted to give the tight end some advice, “I told him repeatedly, you know, you could do it on the side of the road, do it any place that makes it a special event,” which evidently fell on deaf ears.
The grand occasion had a grand location, as the lovey-dovey couple was surrounded by a stunning arrangement of pink and white flowers.
Notably, the 14-time Grammy winner and the Kansas City Chiefs player revealed their engagement via a joint Instagram post on August 26.
Ed Kelce also shared that Taylor and Travis facetimed their families soon after the special moment, sharing the happiness with them.
