Marvel Studios' fans were delighted by the speculation of Loki cast members joining Avengers: Doomsday.
According to a Q&A by reporter Alex Perez, ‘Team Loki, ’ who audiences first met in season one of the Marvel mini-series Loki, will reprise their roles in the upcoming Avengers film.
He said, “Well, there's Sam's Avengers, the New Avengers (with the Z), the Fantastic Four, Team Loki, & the X-Men. Oh, and Team Doom.”
Netizens were overjoyed with the new addition to the iconic cast lineup. One fan wrote, “I need him reunited, fighting alongside Sylvie and his friends.” Another follower commented, “I hope this is true.”
However, Marvel has not officially commented on the report yet, given that the upcoming blockbuster is currently in production.
Notably, the second season of Loki ended with the titular character taking his seat at the end of time, holding the multiverse together. While his team goes their separate ways.
Directed by Justin Benson, the star-studded cast of the team includes Owen Wilson, Sophia Di Martino, and Wunmi Mosaku.
Though it hasn’t been confirmed if Tom Hiddleston will reprise his role as the God of Mischief in Avengers: Doomsday, fans are hoping for him to make a surprise cameo.

For the unversed, Avengers: Doomsday is set to release on December 18, 2026.
