Avengers: Doomsday, the 2026 sci-fi movie that is simultaneously exhilarating and nerve-wracking for its fans, has officially entered the production phase.
The highly anticipated MCU movie is set to be released on 1st May, 2026, and the cast was already confirmed with the fan-favourite leading actor, Robert Downey Jr., playing as Doctor Doom.
Today, the directors of Avengers: Doomsday and some of the best movies of the MCU of all time, the Russo Brothers, Anthony and Joe Russo, have posted the first official behind-the-scenes photo from the movie.

So, with this note, it’s sealed that the highly anticipated upcoming MCU movie begins shooting. And the fans are running out of patience as they blast questions about the upcoming movie in The Russo Brothers’ Instagram post.
“Will Steve be in the movie?” a fan asked in the comment.
Only time will tell how generous the Russo Brothers will be when it comes to dropping behind-the-scenes glimpses and revealing stuff from the Avengers: Doomsday set.
