Taylor Swift mocks sexists in ‘New Heights’ teaser

American pop star Taylor Swift took a well-deserved break after wrapping her record-breaking Eras tour in December 2024

Now, the singer has announced her 12th studio album and the first ever since she bought the master recordings of all her albums.

The new album titled The Life of a Show Girl was announced in a teaser of Taylor’s partner, Travis Kelce’s podcast, New Heights. The episode will be released on August 13, 7pm ET.

In a newly released teaser, Taylor has taken a dig at people who made sexists comments about her ever since she was seen more in sports spaces cheering for her beau.

“You guys have a lot of male sports fans that listen to your podcast.”, Taylor remarked.

She joked, “I think we all know that if there’s one thing that male sports fans want to see in their spaces and on their screens, it’s more of me”

The dig comes months after Taylor was booed by the crowd at the Super Bowl final in February when Travis’ team Kansan Chiefs lost.

Many sports fans believed the Chiefs lost because of Taylor and even blamed her presence for causing the loss.

A fan praised her humour saying, “Her comedic timing is absolutely brilliant.”

Another wrote “Sis, you got them sports boys SHOOK!”

When will 'The Life of a Showgirl' be released?

Taylor has not yet announced the release date of the album, but here’s a clue, the vinyls are being shipped out before October 13, 2025.
