Taylor Swift fans are well-aware that she is not one to do things by accident, and one swiftie seems to have found a link between the global popstar’s twelfth album and Kanye West’s seventh.
The fan was innocently looking up the Karma singer’s album name, The Life of a Showgirl when the I Wonder rapper’s album popped up.
In a Tiktok posted by kirrafaz, the user notes that it is the 24-time Grammy winner’s album The Life of Pablo, which has a name nearly identical to the 14-time Grammy winner’s newly announced one, which appears first.
The other glaring similarity between the two is the color scheme of the covers, although Swift’s cover art is not out yet, she has been hinting at orange and green as being the key colours of the highly anticipated record.
West, who now goes by Ye’s album cover has a light orange background, which naturally sent fans in the comments of the post into a frenzy.
“So her orange album really did end up being Karma………,” one netizen wrote, while another commented, “You cracked it my dear.”
“My jaw actually dropped,” a third user added, while a fourth noted, “She ended every single concert with the song Karma and the color of the new album its ORANGE. I love her,” with three orange hearts.
The Life of Pablo is a nod to three figures, namely the drug dealer Pablo Escobar, the artist Pablo Picasso, and Paul the Apostle.
