Carnie Wilson has unveiled a striking new hairstyle, swapping her signature dark red locks for a honey-blonde look after nearly a decade.

The 58-year-old Wilson Phillips singer revealed the transformation on Instagram, sharing a series of photos showcasing her lighter hair, complete with long extensions.

In the caption, Wilson explained that she had waited seven years before deciding to make the change.

“I love my red, but sometimes you just need a little bit of honey,” she wrote, thanking hairstylist Daniel “Bube” Combs, Syndicate Salon and extension specialist Jenna Elias for helping create the new look.

According to Daily Mail, Wilson added that the makeover left her feeling “rejuvenated.”

Fans quickly filled the comments with praise, with many saying the blonde shade complemented her features and made her look years younger.

Moreover, others described the transformation as “stunning” and applauded her decision to embrace a fresh style after years of maintaining the same color.

The makeover comes just months after Wilson shared an update on her health following complications related to the removal of her lap-band, which she originally received in 2012.

As per the outlet, she previously revealed she was briefly hospitalized due to swelling and high blood pressure after the procedure but later reassured fans that she was recovering well following adjustments to her medication.

Wilson, the daughter of late Beach Boys co-founder Brian Wilson, rose to fame as a member of the Grammy-nominated pop trio Wilson Phillips alongside her sister Wendy Wilson and childhood friend Chynna Phillips.
