Taylor Swift confirms ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ easter eggs

Taylor Swift is the queen of leaving a trail of clues for her fans to obsess over and attempt to predict her next moves, and the Invisible String singer has just confirmed two of her easter eggs for the upcoming album.

The global popstar has referred to this tongue-and-cheek back-and-forth with her fans in the past, saying that she wants to hint at projects years in advance.

In a 2021 appearance at The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the Mastermind crooner stated, “How far is too far in advance? Can I hint at something three years in advance? Can I even plan things out that far? I think I’m gonna try to do it.”

As it turns out, Taylor has in fact hinted at The Life of a Showgirl in advance, as she liked fan tweets which took a look back at two instances of foreshadowing.

One fan quotes the 35-year-old, adding that in her Bejeweled music video, the Mad Woman singer appeared to be dressed as a showgirl, sitting as a 12 in front of a clock.

Meanwhile another user discussed a more obvious easter egg that the 14-time Grammy winner had given the swifties, by walking in front of the theme colours of her twelfth album when presenting an award.

When will 'The Life of a Showgirl' be released?

Taylor has not yet announced the release date of the album, but here’s a clue, the vinyls are being shipped out before October 13, 2025.
