George Clooney’s iconic Villa Oleandra on the shores of Italy’s Lake Como continues to stand as one of the world’s most coveted celebrity homes, offering a blend of luxury, history and privacy that has drawn Hollywood’s biggest names for decades.
The 18th-century estate, now estimated to be worth around $100 million, was purchased by the Oscar-winning actor in 2002 for approximately $10 million.
Since then, Clooney and his wife, human rights lawyer Amal Clooney, have transformed the sprawling lakeside property into a secluded haven for family and close friends.
The villa boasts 25 rooms, manicured gardens, a swimming pool, tennis court, gym and private boat access, while its classic Italian architecture has become synonymous with the glamour of Lake Como.
According to Daily Mail, the estate also holds sentimental value for the couple, as it was where George and Amal first met in 2013 before marrying the following year.
Over the years, Villa Oleandra has welcomed an impressive list of guests, including former U.S. President Barack Obama, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Matt Damon, Julia Roberts and Emily Blunt, whose wedding to John Krasinski was held at the estate in 2010.
Despite recurring rumours that the actor planned to sell the villa, Clooney has publicly dismissed the speculation, reaffirming his attachment to the historic property.
