Princess Charlotte tipped to join Prince William at Women's Euro final

Royal fans are buzzing with speculation that Princess Charlotte could make a surprise appearance at the Women’s Euro 2025 final, and there’s a very special reason why.

With Prince William confirmed to attend Sunday’s match in Basel, Switzerland, in his role as President of the Football Association, all eyes are now on whether his football-loving daughter will join him in the stands.

The Lionesses, reigning European champions, are headed to the final after a dramatic extra-time victory against Italy. 

William, a longtime supporter, celebrated their comeback on social media, posting: “Brilliant performance @Lionesses! One game from glory!”

Now fans are hoping Charlotte, nine, will be cheering them on from the sidelines. 

“Would be lovely if he took Princess Charlotte to cheer them on too,” one fan wrote on X. 

Another added: “I wonder if Prince George & Princess Charlotte will be there for the #womenseuros2025 Final.”

Back in 2023, Charlotte joined her dad in a good luck video for the Lionesses ahead of the Women’s World Cup Final, a tournament William was criticized for skipping in person. Her brief appearance quickly stole the spotlight.

The final kicks off July 27 at St. Jakob-Park, Switzerland’s largest stadium.
