Something’s brewing in Montecito, and Meghan Markle may be gearing up to drop a major announcement.
The Duchess of Sussex has been unusually quiet on her personal Instagram account @meghan, with her last post dating back to July 4.
While silence on social media can sometimes mean nothing, one expert believes it’s all part of a calculated PR strategy.
Brand and culture expert Nick Ede told Express.co.uk that Meghan’s online absence may be her way of “building momentum” ahead of a reveal. “It’s a way of getting attention,” Ede said.
“She knows that when she finally posts again, it’ll gain column inches — and that’s exactly what she wants.”
Meghan, 43, has been juggling her personal page and her lifestyle brand account, American Riviera Orchard.
Her brand page remains active, with the most recent post on July 14 showing Meghan sipping mint tea alongside her dog, Mia.
“Summer afternoons, mint tea, and the sweetest company (Hi, Mia!),” the caption read.
“She might be waiting for the perfect moment to reveal her next product or initiative,” Ede added. “It’s classic brand-building.”
