American actress Jenna Ortega addresses rumours of joining Beetlejuice 3
Jenna Ortega, who is notable for her lead role in Wednesday, spoke up about starring in the upcoming part of Beetlejuice.
Although she played the infamous character of Astrid Deetz in the movie, she addressed the question of joining the next instalment.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Jenna admitted she “would never” become part of upcoming horror comedy unless it is directed by Tim Burton.
The 22-year-old feels that “anybody would be really wrong” to take the seat of the director in place of Tim.
During her conversation, the Scream VI lead revealed a plot in case Tim gets on board. She wants her character to die and go “to heaven instead [of the films’ Netherworld].”
It is to be noted that Jenna was a crucial cast member, leaving fans wondering what to expect without the actress on the motion picture.
On the other hand, the infamous director revealed that he had no idea the third part of the movie was in works.

He gushed about the announcement: “Really? Nobody told me,”
The comments sparked a debate online, raising questions about his involvement in the next film.
Although he really “enjoyed” being part of the project, Tim is seemingly doubtful about the next instalment. “It’s like trying to re-create the Wednesday dance scene,” the filmmaker added.
