Jessica Simpson laid bare her ideal type after Eric Johnson breakup

Jessica Simpson opened up with bare details about her ideal type following her divorce from her former husband Eric Johnson.

In a recent conversation, the 45-year-old singer, who parted her ways from her estranged husband Johnson on January 13, 2025, revealed to the host that she only wants “good kisses” from her future beau.

In an interview with Today, published on July 23, the American actress discussed with host Jenna Bush Hager that she's ready to dive into a romantic relationship, but is “slightly terrified.”

“My type of person is one of a kind. I don’t have a look or anything like that. I just like for somebody to be individually who they are and exude confidence without the ego. It’s hard to find, but I feel like it’s out there,” she told Hager and guest co-host Willie Geist.

The Did You Ever Love Somebody songwriter continued,“I feel like it’s out there, and I don’t need somebody to be supportive of me all the time.” 

Moreover, the Love Guru star confessed that she's an avid kisser and expects the same energy from her future boyfriend, as she mentioned, "Grab my face and pull me in.”

Its pertinent to note, the fashion designer is the proud mother of two daughters Maxwell Drew, Birdie Mae and only son Ace Knute, whom she shares with her ex-partner Johnson.
