Well known rapper GloRilla is expressing her anger after being arrested for possessing drugs in her home.
The marijuana was found by the authorities while responding to a burglary at her residence.
The break-in had taken place while she had been performing at the WNBA All-Star Game in Indianapolis.
Her lawyers claimed that the police had ignored the burglary itself to investigate a small amount of marijuana instead.
The authorities, on the other hand, have claimed that while they are investigating the break-in, they had discovered a "significant amount" of substances.
She was arrested on two charges of marijuana possession and possession of a controlled substance.
"Long story short my house gets home invaded and I'm the only one that gets arrested," the rapper insisted on social media.
Born Gloria Hallelujah Woods, she continued, "CRAZY!! My House got Home Invaded Saturday. While I was in Indianapolis performing for the WNBA all star game & instead of focusing on finding the suspects, they focus on some cannabis."
Forsyth County Sheriff Ron Freeman claimed, "The homeowner is a victim of a serious crime, and we are committed to bringing the suspects to justice. At the same time, we must continue to uphold and enforce the law in all aspects of this case."
Her lawyers, on the other hand, insisted that the quantity of drugs had been small, "The arrest of Gloria Woods is a disturbing window into how warped law enforcement priorities have become. Instead of investigating the violent home invasion and theft at Ms Woods' home, they instead sought a search warrant when they spotted what they believed was a small amount of marijuana. Ms Woods is a victim, not a suspect. This is our tax dollars at work, unbelievable."
