Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby reveals private details of 'Fantastic Four'

The MCU’s latest instalment, The Fantastic Four: First Steps, features a spouse duo, Pedro Pascal and Vanessa Kirby, playing superhero power couple Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic and his wife, Sue Storm/The Invisible Woman.

The duo noted that stepping into the roles of the superhero couple came quite naturally to them.

According to the stars, they quickly bonded once filming began, with Pascal showing his affection toward Kirby at the start of their PEOPLE interview by singing, "Time for you to say nice things about me!"

“I was so over the moon and relieved and just so grateful,” Kirby said about Pascal starring as Mr. Fantastic.

“We started voice noting each other,” the BAFTA-winning actress recalled, “and we started talking about what we were daunted about, about what we were, you know, feeling at this moment in our lives.”

Kirby remembered how she was moved by Pascal’s emotional openness, which, she said, made working together “really easy.”

The Mission: Impossible star also revealed that the two of them created a playlist for their characters.

So, when asked about the wedding song for Richards and Storm, Pascal revealed, "It's 'I Only Have Eyes for You' by The Flamingos.”

The Fantastic Four: First Steps is now out in theatres.
