Jessica Simpson opens up on dating struggles after dramatic divorce

Jessica Simpson has been candid about dating following her dramatic divorce from husband Eric Johnson.

The 45-year-old singer, who hasn't looked like herself in a while, was spotted on Friday taking off from LAX Airport in Los Angeles.

There has been a lot of curiosity about whether she is back in the dating pool yet because she has been transparent about her breakup with her estranged husband Eric Johnson during their divorce and circulating cheating rumours.

"It's a rough road in the dating world," Jessica said in a video that Daily Mail was able to obtain when asked if she was ready to move on romantically.

She didn't say if she has made an effort to put herself out there or if she is prepared for online dating.

Jessica explained, “I mean, I'm not getting on the apps yet.”

The Irresistible hitmaker was asked if she would be amenable to being set up by a friend or if it had to be a dating app.

“I would love for a friend to set me up. Are you kidding me?” the mother-of-three said.

She looked cool for the flight as the blonde bombshell was seemingly heading to New York City for a concert at Rockefeller Center on Wednesday
