'Man of Steel' writer reveals everything he loved about James Gunn’s 'Superman'

James Gunn’s Superman released on July 8 and since has been gaining top reviews as the new movie has left the fans on their toes for the filmmaker’s upcoming projects.

While many have been comparing Superman to 2013 Man of Steel, starring Henry Cavill, the filmmaker of the movie has something nicer to say about the new superhero movie.

David S. Goyer, who was behind Man of Steel, has comments don what he loved about the 2025 movie.

In conversation with CinemaBlend, David said “I really liked it. People always assume that because I did The Dark Knight, I wouldn’t like The Batman, but I really enjoyed it”.

The filmmaker also applauded the new Superman, David Corenswet saying he is “incredibly appealing”.

Another person who, according to David, stole the show was Mr. Terrific. He said “I think the guy that stole the show was Mr. Terrific”.

“I thought Mr. Terrific was awesome.”, David said.
