Lindsay Lohan is currently promoting Freakier Friday, but an awkward clip from an interview for the publicity for the prequel has resurfaced, prompting Anthony Anderson to issue a response.
The Parent Trap actress was a 17-year-old at the time, meanwhile the Scary Movie 3 star was 33-year-old when he ended up making some concerning remarks during an episode of The Sharon Osbourne Show back in 2003.
A representative for the comedian has just issued a statement to Entertainment Tonight saying, "This interview was clearly intended as comedy. He regrets if the humor was in poor taste and maintains the utmost respect for Lindsay. Any implication to the contrary is both inaccurate and potentially defamatory."
The comedic remarks being referred to include the G20 actor discussing the Mean Girls alum’s love life, and after Lohan clarified that she didn’t have a boyfriend, Anthony announced that she was single but looking.
In response, the Just My Luck actress added in warning that she was illegal for people that are old, to which the Barbershop actor made an odd comment.
"Well, you know, some men like 'em young. We ain't gonna mention no names, but, you know, I'm one of 'em," Anthony said, laughing.
Notably, he also joked elsewhere in the interview that Lohan had kissed him on the lips after the two greeted each other by giving each other a quick peck on the cheek.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lindsay Lohan gave birth to her son, Luai when she was 36 years old.
