Did Meghan Markle just send Queen Camilla a secret birthday message?

Meghan Markle has sparked fresh speculation after posting what many royal watchers believe is a cryptic birthday message directed at Queen Camilla. 

The Duchess of Sussex took to Instagram Stories to share a video showcasing a crate containing three bottles of her new As Ever Rosé wine, writing: “Sending birthday love (both near and far) to my ladies.”

While Meghan didn’t name anyone specifically, fans were quick to interpret the timing as a subtle nod to Camilla, who turned 78 this week.

The post came just as the royal family released a striking new portrait of Queen Camilla, captured by photographer Chris Jackson, showing the Queen in the garden of her private Wiltshire residence, Ray Mill. 

Camilla wore a bold tropical rainforest-print dress by Fiona Clare, with the image highlighting her art deco engagement ring.

Camilla has been marking her birthday with several public appearances, including a visit to the Children’s Hospice South West and a garden party at HMS Drake. 

During her visit to HMS Astute, the Queen received a roll of cling film as a humorous early birthday gift, a reference to an inside joke about the submarine crew’s creative repairs.

Meghan’s post adds a layer of intrigue to the ongoing royal narrative, especially given the tense history between the Sussexes and the wider royal family.
