The Real Housewives of London are already stirring royal drama, even before their show airs.
In a just-released trailer, reality star Panthea Parker claimed she was warned not to bring up Prince Harry during a recent visit to Buckingham Palace.
The clip shows Panthea riding to the royal garden party with her husband, British lawyer Ed Parker, discussing her plans to ask King Charles a very direct question: "I'm going to go, ‘How do you feel about Harry and what he did?’” Panthea teased.
But her husband quickly shut the idea down, jokingly flipping through a booklet and saying: "It says, specifically, 'Do not ask the monarch about Harry and Meghan.'"
According to People, this lighthearted exchange suggested Ed was referencing instructions supposedly handed down by the Palace, a cheeky nod to the well-publicized royal rift between Harry and his father, King Charles.
While Express.co.uk reports that Buckingham Palace declined to comment on the scene, it’s believed this wasn’t a genuine rule, but rather an inside joke.
The Palace is not known for issuing guidance on conversation topics but does occasionally brief guests on general royal etiquette.
The Buckingham Palace garden parties, held annually, welcome more than 30,000 guests as a way for the royal family to recognize and celebrate individuals who’ve made positive contributions to their communities.
Panthea herself reflected on the surreal experience on Instagram back in May, writing: "If there’s any garden party to go to, it’s the King’s at Buckingham Palace, naturally. The average age? Let’s just say I was the youth ambassador!"
She added, playfully: "So I had to bring the vibes — blessing the royals, curtsying at strangers, asking if they were cousins."
"Thank God no one marched me off to the Tower of London… I don’t think my heels would’ve survived it!"
