How Prince William 'quietly' responded to Prince Harry's criticism

Prince William has handled his estranged brother’s repeated public attacks with remarkable grace, according to a leading royal expert. 

The future King’s relationship with Prince Harry has remained tense since the Duke of Sussex stepped down as a senior royal in 2020, launching a series of personal claims through high-profile interviews, Netflix’s Harry & Meghan docu-series, and his tell-all memoir Spare.

Yet, while Harry continues to voice his grievances, Prince William has maintained a steadfast and silent approach, something royal commentator Lee Cohen calls a “dignified” strategy.

Speaking to The Spectator, Cohen said: “The Prince of Wales has responded to his brother’s attacks not with interviews or indignation, but with dignified silence. His life, rooted in duty to family, nation, and the Crown, stands as a silent rebuke to Harry’s endless complaints and schemes.”

Cohen also praised Princess Kate’s popularity and their united front as a couple, adding: “Together, they represent a modern monarchy: not perfect, but purposeful. Their quiet, consistent service stands in stark contrast to the Sussexes’ victimhood circus.”

The expert concluded: “True nobility lies in service, not self-promotion", suggesting that William’s strategy is winning public favour as the royal rift continues.
