Love Island USA, after stirring several controversies, finally has a winner of the seventh season that was announced on Sunday night.
After the removal of the beloved couple Ace Green and Chelley, four pairs were left to compete in the finale of the Peacock series.
Amaya Espinal and Bryan Arenales were finally crowned to be the winning duo on the Island who will be taking $100K cash prize home.
It is to be noted that the amount will be split between the two.
While Amaya and Bryan celebrate the achievement, two participants were removed from the face of the show for their past racist comments.
Cierra Ortega, who was quietly eliminated from the series, recently shocked her fans after sharing death threats that she has been receiving.
The influencer faced harsh public scrutiny after her past social media post began making the rounds on the internet.
The 25-year-old reportedly used a racial slur which was deemed offensive by many.
However, Cierra apologised for passing the remark and being ignorant.
She stated in her Instagram reel: “I had no idea that the word held as much pain, as much harm and came with the history that it did.”
Previously, Yulissa Escobar was removed from the villa for using the word N****.
It was noticeable that the series carried on like nothing after the two Islanders were eliminated.
