Prince William is showing his full support for England’s Lionesses, stepping out in Zurich, Switzerland, on Wednesday to watch the team take on the Netherlands in a high-stakes UEFA Women’s Euro match.
The Prince of Wales, 43, looked in good spirits as he arrived at Stadion Letzigrund, where kickoff was at 5pm BST.
He attended the match solo, without Princess Kate or their three children, as the Lionesses faced potential elimination from the tournament.
William’s appearance comes just weeks after visiting the squad at St George’s Park, where he helped print their match-day shirts and offered words of encouragement.
On June 30, he also took to social media, writing: “Best of luck to the Lionesses at the Women’s Euros. Take pride in all that’s been achieved and believe in bringing home the win!”
The Prince is set for another major public outing this Friday, July 11, at the Out-Sourcing Inc. Royal Charity Polo Cup 2025.
The match, held at Guards Polo Club in Windsor, is expected to raise over £14 million for charities supported by William and Kat
