French President Emmanuel Macron made a cheeky four-word remark about Prince William’s height during the French state visit to the UK this week, according to a lip reader.
While greeting King Charles, Queen Camilla, and the Prince and Princess of Wales at RAF Northolt on Tuesday, Macron couldn’t help but comment on the future king’s stature.
Lip reader Nicola Hickling told The Sun that Macron said: “He is incredibly tall”, prompting King Charles to respond, “He is very tall. He’s six foot one, he is, ever so.”
Prince William then chimed in: “Actually, I’m six foot three.” Macron, who stands around 5ft 7, quipped: “Unlike us, we’re short.”
