Kate Middleton sparked reactions with her last-minute decision related to the Royal Ascot appearance.

The Princess of Wales, who is in remission from cancer, left 'disappointed' as she pulled off from the royal gathering at the Palace.

As per GB, a source revealed, "Catherine knows she should not overdo things. She is grateful that her recovery has gone well, but things have not been plain sailing."

"She had a busy day at Trooping the Colour at the weekend and, if she’s feeling slightly under the weather, it’s better that she takes it easy," an insider shared.

For the unversed, the Princess of Wales announced her cancer diagnosis in March 2024 via an emotional video message.

She then underwent preventative chemotherapy and stepped out from the public eye.

At the beginning of 2025, Catherine shared she had completed her treatment and is currently in remission from cancer.

The mother-of-three marked a gradual return to royal duties as royal experts said that she is listening to her body and prioritising her health.

The future Queen was last seen at Garter Day and Trooping the Colour alongside her family.
