Diddy files second mistrial request over alleged false testimonies

Sean “Diddy” Combs and his legal team keep on fighting despite horrifying testimonies from Casandra Ventura, better known as Cassie, Kid Cudi, and former employees.

It has been a month since the beginning of the high-profile trial, and the music mogul’s attorneys are finding new ways to dent prosecutors’ credibility.

Diddy’s lawyers have filed a motion to accuse the other side of deliberately putting forward false testimonies.

The petition was filed on June 7, which argues that the claims made by one of Cassie’s friends, Bryana Bongolan, were incorrect.

Bongolan testified to corroborate Cassie’s account that she saw her friend being dangled from the balcony of a 17-story building by Diddy.

However, the defence provided text message conversations between her and the rapper’s chief of staff.

In the exchange, the former partner of Diddy allegedly implied that she heard about the balcony incident rather than actually witnessing it.

As a result, the defence has made its second mistrial request after the first was denied over evidence discrepancy.
