English actor David Jonsson announced as the lead in 'Black Panther 3'
David Jonsson, who is known for his role in Rye Lane and Alien: Romulus, was announced to be taking up the titular role in Black Panther 3.
The 32-year-old will be continuing the story while honouring Chadwick Boseman’s character T’Challa (Black Panther).
The Hollywood star is now facing an immense pressure as he is bound to continue the legacy of Chadwick, who passed away on August 28, 2020.
Referring to his previous projects, a netizen gushed about his addition: “The long walk was a good watch. He’ll make a great Black Panther for sure”
While many appreciated the Marvel studios for having David as the superhero, several admirers were left disappointed as one of the X users questioned: “Who is this???”
Another netizen was of the opinion: “Damson Idris for this role but this works too,” while a fan was of the opinion: “No one will ever beat the main Black Panther.”
Although the fandom expressed their excitement, calling him the “perfect pick,” they are wishing him luck on being the new face.
When is Black Panther 3 coming out?
The movie is expected to come out on December 15, 2028 while another addition to the universe was also confirmed, introducing Ryan Gosling as Ghost Rider.
It was announced that Ryan’s starrer film will be hitting the theatres in 2028.
