1. His feud with Taylor Swift
The long standing feud between Kanye and popstar Taylor Swift began in 2009. The then 19-year-old singer was called on-stage for her first VMA win in category Best Female Video. He interrupted the Bad Blood songstress during her acceptance speech to announce that “Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time!”
Although the Yeezy owner apologised for interfering, he took back his words in later interview. However, situation appeared to have shifted in 2015 as he teased a possible collaboration with Taylor.
The music video of his song Famous was later released which raised more questions as the Donda hitmaker used models of the 14-times Grammy winner and Kim laying naked alongside Kanye.
On the other hand, The Kardashians star released a screen shot of phone call, showing Taylor’s consent to the lyrics. Infuriated popstar soon released a song Look What You Made Me Do that seemingly hinted at the situation.
The Famous music video is still questioned by many for using celebrity look-alike statues without their permission.
2. Controversial songs:
The rapper started out with creative songs that earned him great popularity and a title of being the “most successful college dropout since Bill Gate.” With the passage of time, his fame made him confident enough to create melodies with edgy, dark and controversial angles.
Soon it went from The College Dropout to Eazy which was released during his divorce drama with his former partner Kim Kardashian. He added a threatening tone to the lyrics of the song that pointed towards the Saturday Night Live alum Pete Davidson, whom the SKIMS owner began dating back then.
3. Kanye West’s relation with Bianca Censori
One of the most talked-about things recently is Kanye West’s relationship with Bianca Censori, whom he married in an intimate ceremony in December 2022.
Although Bianca is an Australian architect by profession, she appeared on the 2025 Grammy’s red carpet as a model alongside the Mercy crooner. This appearance was marked as the most controversial act where Bianca slipped her long robe to reveal a sheer dress. Days after the incident, Bianca Censori became the most searched term on the internet.
What’s even more disturbing was Kanye’s remark about being “dominion” over his wife, sparking massive outrage and concerns. It was reported that the model felt “frightened” of the musician. He later made a bombshell claim that his partner “ran” away. However, Kanye and Bianca soon reunited after they were spotted breaking bread together at a fusion Indian restaurant in Spain.
4. Support for Diddy
Although the record producer initially had a turbulent relationship with Sean “Diddy” Combs, he surprisingly offered his massive support to the Bad Boy Records owner. The rapper demanded to “FREE PUFF” and sent a message for him: “PUFF WE LOVE YOU.”
His support did not stop till his public statements as he also introduced a clothing line “Sean John collaboration.” He revealed that the rappers joined hands before Diddy got locked up, facing charges of sex trafficking and racketeering.
Kanye made his backing prominent by releasing a song Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine in collaboration with the imprisoned vocalist and his eldest daughter with Kim, North. The track fuelled his feud with the model as she started considering taking back his rights over the four children they share: North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm.
5. Calling out the Kardashian for “sex trafficking”
Ye is known for his unhinged rant on X (formerly Twitter), expressing his questionable views without restriction. One of these were a direct hit at his ex-partner Kim, alleging that she is a “sex trafficker.” He also showed concern for their daughter North “dressing all grown” in a video.
Previously, Kanye expressed his desire to “raise” his kids and not just “see” them. According to him, his rights have been stripped away by the “Kardashian Mob.”
It is to be noted that his account disappeared from the platform after celebrities like David Schwimmer requested Elon Musk to takeaway his megaphone. However, it reappeared after some time.
