The internet has been taken by a storm as rumours spread that the real-life haunted doll Annabelle, popularized by The Conjuring films, has suddenly disappeared following a tour stop in Louisiana.
The theories grew more intense after news came out of a fire breaking out at Nottoway Resort in White Castle, formerly Nottoway Plantation. Fans began to speculate that the disappearance was somehow linked to the fire.
However soon enough, Dan Rivera of NESPR (New England Society for Psychic Research) put an end to the rumours.
He shared a video on social media of the Warrens Occult Museum in Monroe, Connecticut which showed Annabelle safe and sound in her original location.
“She/it is NOT lost and here’s Dan Rivera with NESPR proving she is back home inside the museum in Connecticut,” explained a user.
The infamous doll is a Raggedy Ann toy which is thought to be possessed by a demonic spirit by controversial paranormal investigators, Ed and Lorraine Warren.
Authorities further confirmed that there was no identifiable link between the supposed disappearance and the fire in Louisiana.
