'Coronation Street' star Sacha Parkinson gives birth to a baby girl
The former 'Coronation Street' actress reveals her newborn daughter’s name
British actress Sacha Parkinson, known for appearing in over 200 episodes of ITV’s soap opera Coronation Street, has welcomed a baby girl.
The 32-year-old performer took to Instagram to share the first photo of her daughter and announce her name, one week after giving birth.
In the caption of the post, Parkinson wrote: “One whole week of Sadie.” The black-and-white photos gave fans a sweet glimpse of the newborn.
The official Coronation Street Instagram account commented, “Ahh congratulations Sacha!”
Other stars of the long-running soap also joined in to congratulate the small-screen actress, including Lucy-Jo Hudson, Georgia May Foote and Sally Dynevor.
Sally Dynevor, a longtime Coronation Street cast member, commented: “Oooooh wow congratulations. How wonderful. She’s so beautiful.”
Just an hour after sharing the post, Parkinson appeared to be basking in her new role as a mum by following up with an Instagram story showing baby Sadie dressed in a cute romper.
Fans also showered love for Sadie in the comments. While some sent congratulatory messages and heartfelt wishes, others admired Parkinson’s strength and offered kind words for her breastfeeding journey.
