Bradley Cooper gets candid about spending lockdown with Oscar nominated actress’ family

Bradley Cooper recently spilled the beans about his well-rooted friendship with fellow New Yorker Anne Hathaway and her husband, Adam Shulman.

In an interview with Vogue, The Hangover star surprised fans by revealing that their bond began during the lockdown, when they were part of a small group of parents who spent time together.

“We started hanging out as parents, having dance parties with the kids in my kitchen,” he said, adding, “And I fell in love with both of them.”

Cooper has an eight-year-old daughter, Lea De Seine, with his ex-partner Irina Shayk, while Hathaway, 42, and Shulman, 44, have two sons — Jonathan, nine, and Jack, five.

The Guardians of the Galaxy actor praised the Academy Award-winning actress and remarked, “You see how she treats everyone — and it’s everyone — she’s so kind.”

The A Star Is Born director further described The Princess Diaries star as “very present and grounded,” as well as “viciously intelligent.”

Moreover, the 50-year-old actor admired the bond between the Interstellar actress and her partner, saying the couple represent true commitment and genuinely support and uplift one another.

The Devil Wears Prada lead also showed her support for the Oscar-nominated actor earlier this year.

In January 2024, Hathaway attended the National Board of Review Gala in New York City to present Cooper with the Icon Award.

“Bradley and I became friends during the pandemic when he invited my family over for pizza — which, I have to mention, he made himself,” the actress said during her speech.
