Gregg Wallace was allegedly treated for a suspected heart attack days before he was fired by the BBC after a misconduct investigation.
The 60-year-old MasterChef host took aim at his employers in a harsh post, claiming that even after being exonerated of "the most serious and sensational accusations," he was still being fired.
The Sun claims that Gregg has now informed a friend that he was taken to the Ashford hospital on Sunday due to what appeared to be a heart attack following two days of chest pains.
It coincides with the BBC receiving 50 new claims against the TV host, including allegations that he groped one employee and pulled his pants down in front of another.
Additionally, Gregg is prepared to declare "war" on bosses over his dismissal and is thinking of suing the BBC or MasterChef’s production company Banijay.
"The stress of this betrayal brought on my suspected heart attack," Gregg told a friend about his health scare. It's been terrible.
Gregg Wallace is well-known for co-hosting MasterChef: The Professionals, Celebrity MasterChef, and MasterChef on the BBC. With a career spanning more than 20 years in UK food and cooking shows, he is also well-known as a food expert, former greengrocer, and television host.
