British singer Ed Sheeran has been the music industry’s favourite ginger since he debuted with his album Plus. He is known for making some of the most popular tunes of the 2000s.
The 34-year-old British superstar is now temporarily putting down his microphone in favour of a paintbrush as he starts a startling new artistic venture.
This week will see the sale of the Ipswich-born celebrity's debut collection, Cosmic Carpark Paintings, which includes a number of original canvases and one-of-a-kind prints that were created by the man himself.
On his Mathematics tour, the vocalist disclosed that all of the paintings were made in an abandoned park in central London and were inspired by celestial forms.
"I've used painting as a creative outlet ever since I started doing it at the end of my Divide Tour in 2019," he said.
Ed also claimed that British painter Damien Hirst urged him to look into the possibility of releasing his own collection.
The Grammy winner, Ed Sheeran’s new album Play is slated for a September 2025 release.
