Benny Blanco opens up about the mistake made by The Academy's official X account.
The humorous scene happened a month ago.
On Monday's The Jennifer Hudson Show, Benny recalled the beautiful blunder The Academy Awards made while writing the caption for the photo of him and his fiancée Selena Gomez.
The Academy's official X account mistakenly captioned an image of American record producer and Emilia Pérez star as "Selena Gomez and Bad Bunny."
The caption was edited shortly after but screenshots of the mistake were shared in the comments section.
Blanco, 37, also commented on the post by saying, "I like that, What do you mean? He’s so hot! I’ll take it, I’ll take it. What do you mean?"
He further added, “Look at how pretty he is! Are you kidding?”
"I'm Bad Bunny now,'' Roses songwriter joked, while looking at his photo.
The Better to Lie songwriter appeared on his podcast after the release of his collaborative album with Gomez, I Said I Love You First, which came out on March 21.
The couple were rumoured to be together since June 2023, publicly confirming their relationship in December 2023 and got engaged by the end of 2024.
