British superstar Adele is gearing up for a dramatic new chapter, and it’s not just about the music.

The 37-year-old chart-topping star is said to be heading back into the studio to record a brand-new track for the upcoming historical drama Cry to Heaven.

Notably, marking her first-ever acting role in the hotly anticipated film directed by fashion mogul Tom Ford.

According to insiders, Adele’s involvement has sent excitement soaring behind the scenes.

“The film is steeped in the opera world, so they wanted the most powerful voice they could find,” a source revealed.

“Getting new music from Adele is like gold dust – and she didn’t say yes lightly.”

But it’s not just about lending her vocals as the Grammy-winning singer is reportedly “determined” to prove she’s got serious acting talent too, stepping onto the big screen alongside heavyweights like Nicholas Hoult and Colin Firth.

Fans will remember Hello hitmaker's cinematic success with the haunting Skyfall theme for the 2012 Skyfall, but this time, she’s aiming to shine on screen as well as on the soundtrack.

And there’s more as the sources say the songstress could be swapping gruelling world tours for a steadier life in film, prioritising time with her teenage son Angelo, whom she shares with ex-husband Simon Konecki.

“She’s realised acting offers a more structured routine,” the insider added.

“Family comes first.”

After wrapping her Las Vegas residency, Adele openly admitted she “hates touring” and chose stability for her son.

With fiancé Rich Paul by her side, it seems the superstar is ready to rewrite her story, one scene at a time.
