Prince Harry’s redhead genes shine through in new photo of Archie and Lilibet

Meghan Markle gave fans a rare and heartwarming glimpse into her family life with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet — and it’s their adorable red hair that has everyone talking.

The Duchess of Sussex on Monday shared a new photo on Instagram alongside her two children — Archie, 5, and Lilibet, 3, whom she shares with Prince Harry. 

The post, shared jointly on Meghan’s personal account and her lifestyle brand As Ever, featured the caption: “Every day is a love story” followed by a dove emoji.

In the tender snap, Meghan is seen from behind, holding Lilibet on her hip while Archie hugs her side. Both children’s vibrant red hair, inherited from their dad Harry, is clearly on display — and fans can’t get enough.

The Duchess and her daughter also wore matching straw sun hats, while Lili carried a little basket, making the photo feel straight out of a storybook.

Prince Harry has proudly acknowledged the ginger gene runs strong in his family. 

In a 2023 appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, he joked, “Definitely my mum. The ginger gene is a strong one! I genuinely thought there’s no way the ginger gene would stand up to my wife’s genes, but I was wrong. Go gingers!”
