Prince Harry is tipped to meet not just his father, King Charles, but also Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie when he returns to the UK next month.
The Duke of Sussex, 40, will travel from California to attend the WellChild Awards in London on September 8, a date that also marks the third anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II’s death.
Royal commentator Jennie Bond told the Mirror that Harry “may well see some of his cousins – such as Eugenie or Beatrice,” though she ruled out any reunion with Prince William or Kate Middleton.
“The rift between the brothers remains too deep,” Bond said, adding that William has “far too much going on” to deal with the “Harry problem.”
Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams also highlighted Beatrice and Eugenie’s role as “bridges” between the Sussexes and the Firm, suggesting the King could even ask them to represent him at the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham.
On the possibility of Harry finally reuniting with his father, Bond admitted, “A meeting between Harry and his father is long overdue,” and urged Charles to take the first step.
“Parents must be the bigger person,” she said.
