Prince Harry’s Netflix dreams could revive as his pal teases 2nd season of polo series

Prince Harry’s longtime friend Nacho Figueras has revealed he is “hopeful” that the pair’s Netflix polo series will be renewed for a second season.

The Argentine polo star, 47, first met Harry, 40, at a charity match for Sentebale in 2007, and the two have remained close ever since.

Speaking about the series last year, Nacho shared his excitement at bringing their shared passion for the sport to the screen.

“I’m excited about the Netflix polo series that we just launched,” he told Town & Country

“Hopefully that will educate a lot more people about the sport we love. Harry really wanted polo to be one of the projects, as it’s something he’s been passionate about since he was very young.”

Nacho added that discussions about a second season were already happening, and that positive audience feedback has been key: “The feedback has been very great, and I really hope when the time comes we’ll be able to [make more episodes].”

The comments came before Netflix confirmed that Harry and Meghan Markle had signed a new “first-look” deal with the streaming giant in August, extending their partnership.

Upcoming projects are rumored to include a Princess Diana documentary and a series set in Africa.
