Lady Gaga is currently enjoying her musical comeback with the release of her new album, Mayhem, which she sat down to discuss with Access Hollywood.
After getting engaged to entrepreneur Michael Polansky following four years of dating, she says she hopes to become a mother in the coming decade, "I really want to be a mom. The greatest vision I have is that."
In a previous interview with Elle, she reflected on wanting to let her future children be free, "That's something Michael and I have talked about a lot — allowing our kids to be their own people. It's such an intense thing for kids coming into the world. And they're told how to think and what to believe in and how to eat ... I just kind of want to let my kids find out who they are."
Discussing their possible opinions on her iconic career, the singer mused, "I would want my children to understand that whatever my artistry means to them is totally up to them. I would never actually want to shape it or tell them how to think about me."
Gaga also revealed that she co-wrote one of the most “beautiful” songs on the album with her fiance, Polansky.
