Niall Horan, who is busy promoting his new album, Dinner Party, recently recalled the bizarre time after Liam Payne’s death.

The late musician was found dead after he fell from the third-floor balcony at the CasaSur Hotel in Argentina on October 16, 2024.

Recalling the incident, he revealed on The Tommy Tiernan Show that the very first time he saw the news, his jaw dropped.

Niall said, “Looking down at your phone, that’s shock. Then, stupidly turning on Sky News, and then the next channel.”

He continued further, “and the whole world is talking about it like it's its the biggest breaking news in the planet at that minute,”

The 32-year-old added, “I found it like cuz I was in the pictures with him on Sky News. I found that very weird. ‘Well, mom is that me? With him, there?’ you know. That's that's a strange one.”

The Night Changes hit maker also admitted that he has still not wrapped his head around reality and sometimes thinks about Liam’s little son and everything.

“It's a weird thing to be going through at 30 something that someone two weeks older than you can just be here today, gone tomorrow.” the songwriter concluded.

It is to be noted that the late English crooner had a son, Bear Grey Payne, with former lover, Cheryl and they both welcomed the little boy in 2017.
