Rapper Offset is set to perform in Russia next month.

The Atlanta-based artist announced on Instagram that he will be playing an arena gig in Moscow on April 18.

Offset, whose real name is Kiari Cephus, is under an exclusive contract with Motown Records, which is a subsidiary of Universal Music Group (UMG).

After the Russia-Ukraine conflict began in 2022, UMG was among several US-based record labels that announced they would be suspending operations in Russia.

"We are adhering to international sanctions and, along with our employees and artists, have been working with groups from a range of countries to support humanitarian relief efforts to bring urgent aid to refugees in the region," UMG announced in their official statement.

Live Nation and Warner Music Group were among other notable labels that followed the same path, along with artists such as Green Day and Yungblud.

Recently, some artists have started performing in Russia, including rapper DaBaby, who performed in Moscow last week.

Offset became famous as part of hip-hop band Migos. Since 2017, the 33-year-old rapper has been performing independently and last year he completed his first solo tour across the US.
