Beckhams cut off Meghan Markle and Harry, side with Prince William and Kate instead

David and Victoria Beckham have officially distanced themselves from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, throwing their support behind Prince William and Kate Middleton instead.

The famous couple once shared a close bond with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, even attending their 2018 royal wedding at Windsor Castle. However, their friendship took a turn for the worse soon after.

According to Tom Bower’s book, House of Beckham, Meghan was furious when The Sun published an article about her and Victoria’s shared love for “pricey facials and glamorous blow-dries”.

This reportedly left Victoria hurt and the Beckhams deeply offended—so much so that David and his sons have been holding a grudge ever since.

Now, royal expert Emily Andrews has claimed that David Beckham has fully sided with Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Writing for Woman, Andrews stated: “There have been suggestions that Victoria might be happy to make amends with Meghan (although I doubt it, I must admit). But David has very much nailed his colour to the British Royal Family mast—and not the rival court in Montecito.”

A source also told Express that Beckham is “fiercely protective” of Victoria and does not believe she should reconnect with Harry and Meghan.

“David would not be disloyal to King Charles and Queen Camilla by welcoming Harry and Meghan back,” the source added.
