Gemma's wedding day threatened by heartbreak

 The character has been silently grappling with his diagnosis, with only his friend Dee-Dee Bailey aware of his illness.

Upcoming scenes depict Paul's excitement as he shares with Dee-Dee his discovery of a new drug on the internet, allegedly claiming to cure  his disease.

Full of renewed hope, Paul seeks potential avenues for treatment, but his efforts prove unsuccessful, adding to the emotional weight of his ongoing battle.

Amidst these challenges, Paul's twin sister, Gemma Winter, approaches him with a heartfelt request: to give her away at her upcoming wedding.
