Emma Corrin on coming out as nonbinary: ‘Princess Diana helped me explore so many depths of myself’

Emma Corrin sat down for an interview with The New York Times and credited Princess Diana for helping them in realizing that they are nonbinary.

Corrin said their role as Diana in The Crown made them question about their gender identity.

The 25-year-old said, "She was so openhearted to everything and explored so much. I feel like Diana helped me explore so many depths of myself and really do a big internal discovery of what I was feeling about everything because she was a very complex person.”

Earlier, during an interview, Corrin had opened up about gender status and stated, “It's taken me a long time to realise that I exist somewhere in between and I'm still not sure where that is yet.”
