The royals, Prince William and Kate Middleton’s son Prince George turns 8 today, as Kate pays tribute to Prince Philip in the latest portrait, as per the royal tradition.

According to the tradition of the royal family every year a new portrait was released of the future king on social media.

In the picture captured by Kate Middleton, Prince George was seen rejoicing at his birthday flaunting a wide, toothy smile, while sitting on a Land Rover Defender in Anmer Hall, Norfolk. In the photograph, George is seen wearing an orange and blue striped, collared shirt, and blue shorts.

However, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were reluctant to share a picture of their little Prince George on social media with the fear that he might fall victim to trolls.

Many fans wished him well, and said, "I remember when he was born!!! My sister and I were so excited!!! I can’t believe he’s that old already?! Maybe he’ll have one more baby sister? We can only hope!!!"

Another fan wrote, "Man! how time flies, Happy Birthday in advance, Prince George Have fun!"

"Aw he is so big and I love his huge smile for his mummy," wrote the third. "Happy birthday sweet Prince George! I wish you all the best, a fun day surrounded by your loved ones and a wonderful year!! We all love you."

A follower reminisced, "Happy Birthday Prince George! I still remember the day you were born, Can’t believe how big you are now."

The Royals are also parents to Princess Charlotte, 6, and Prince Louis, 3.

Prince George had recently gained public attention when he attended the Euro finals, 2020, with William and Kate.
