The popular long-running CBS drama series Criminal Minds is getting a revival at the Paramount+. The upcoming revival series is in very early development as Variety confirmed.
The publication has further reported that the creative team for the revival version has been currently being assembled.
The U.S. crime show was created by Jeff Davis, known as one of the long-running shows at the platform, aired on CBS for 15 seasons, from 2005 to 2020.
The original series synopsis followed a group of criminal profilers who work for the FBI as members of its Behavioral Analysis Unit using behavioral analysis and profiling to investigate crimes and find perpetrators. The show told the story of the team as they worked on various cases and their personal struggles.
The cast of the show included Mandy Patinkin, Shemar Moore, Joe Mantegna, Aisha Tyler, Matthew Gray Gubler, Thomas Gibson, Lola Glaudini, Adam Rodriguez and Paget Brewster, among others, were part of the show over the years.
