Prince Harry and Meghan Markle quit social media due to hate and trolls

The extensive internet trolling and bashing have made Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to quit social media. The royal couple have quit social media after growing hatred they have found on popular social networking sites, reported on Sunday.

As per the source close to the couple told the Sunday Times, the Duke and the Duchess of Sussex had no plans to continue using social media for their newly launched non-profit organization Archewell Foundation. They had often spoken about the hazards of social media trolling after Megxit.

The couple moved to California with their 19-months-old son Archie, last year after resigning from royal duties.

They had previously strong presences online. The couple amassed around 11 million Instagram followers to their Sussex Royal account while they were working royals.

Now, Harry and Meghan have sworn off social media for good after growing disillusioned by the "hate" they have found on social media.

As per the UK newspaper reports, Harry and Meghan were rejecting the platforms in both a personal and professional capacity as part of their new "progressive role" in the US.
