Barack Obama shares favorite songs playlist from his presidency period

Former US president Barack Obama has been promoting his memoir A Promised Land these days and on Friday he took to Twitter to share the list of memorable songs during his tenure.

The 44th president of the states wrote, “Music has always played an important role in my life—and that was especially true during my presidency. In honor of my book hitting shelves tomorrow, I put together this playlist featuring some memorable songs from my administration. Hope you enjoy it.”

The songs and artists he shared from his playlist included; Beyoncé‘s Halo and the cover of Etta James' At Last, Bruce Springsteen’s The Rising, Eminem’s Lose Yourself and a tribute to his wife with Michelle by The Beatles.

A Promised Land will be available at bookstores from today.
