Usher's concert guest Gabrielle Cheyenne has broken her silence after an awkward on stage interaction with the R&B star made waves over internet.

Gabrielle Cheyenne, the 24-year-old nurse who was invited on stage during the music icon's Nashville show, addressed the criticism after fans claimed she did not react the way they expected during the singer’s intimate performance.

The Yeah! singer was performing his 2004 hit Can U Handle It? when Gabrielle joined him on stage for his signature fan interaction.

However, the American songwriter noticed her hesitant response and quickly addressed the crowd, saying, "I don't think she wanna be onstage, y'all," before wrapping up the performance.

Taking to Facebook, the nurse defended herself against the backlash, writing, "First off NOBODY is declining to go on stage. I looked good asf, you thought I wasn't gonna let THOUSANDS of people see me?? On the big screen, where you bitches will never be????"

She explained that she and her mother originally had floor seats before the singer’s team approached them and moved them to the VIP section.

"My mom and I had FLOOR SEATS. Their team approached us and moved us to VIP before the show even started !!" Gabrielle added.

She went on to reveal that she was not told which performer she would be joining on stage, writing, "They don't say who you're going up there for!!"

Moreover, Gabrielle pushed back against the comments online, saying she was not uncomfortable with the spotlight but was simply not prepared for the reaction expected by viewers.
